Welcome to Alpha Dive and Kayak

The area surrounding Powell River, British Columbia provides some of the most scenic paddling experiences on the West Coast. Located halfway between Saltery Bay and Lund,  Powell River is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Paddlers enjoy miles of scenic coastline, showcasing the scenery of the Strait of Georgia. We have also been blessed with more than our fair share of freshwater lakes, many joined by well-marked portage routes. Check out our Tours page for more information. This area is called the Sunshine Coast for a reason. Summer weather here is fantastic; however, if properly equipped, paddling can be a year-round sport. With destinations such as Desolation Sound, Savary Island, Texada and Lasqueti Islands within close proximity, you don’t have to travel far for a world-class paddling experience.
